Information for Volunteer at the Ekuus Center Stable PDF Print E-mail
All volunteers must be aged 16 and older. Experience with horses is desirable but not necessary. Volunteers should also be able to walk (often on an uneven thickness or land) at least an hour and be able to make a jogging from time to time.

Basic training is given before you become physically involved in the Ekuus Center. The training covers the following main objectives and structure, special equipment, basic principles concerning relations with the bénéficières, tour the plant is to be used, the demonstration of horse handling, safety precautions, practice session. A document on the rules of operation and safety as well as a phone number or an instructor coordinator as well as a schedule is provided.
